Who we are
e-MFP with around 120 members from all geographic regions and specialisations, is the leading network of organisations and individuals active in the financial inclusion sector in developing countries. e-MFP fosters activities which increase global access to affordable, quality, sustainable and inclusive financial services for the un(der)banked by driving knowledge-sharing, partnership development and innovation.
The Platform achieves this through its diverse publications, numerous year-round expert Action Groups, the annual European Microfinance Week which attracts over 500 top stakeholders representing dozens of countries from the sector, the prestigious annual European Microfinance Award and many other activities.

Meet the board and team

What is the membership process ?Every application is carefully screened by the Secretariat to ensure it complies with the basic membership requirements. It is then forwarded to the e-MFP Membership Committee for approval. If passed by them, the application is then discussed at the next Board meeting and Board approval is given. Successful applicants are informed by the Secretariat. Finally all new members have to be approved at the annual General Meeting of Members.

How do I apply for membership ?Institutions interested in applying for e-MFP membership should complete and submit the membership application form. Individuals who wish to apply should submit their CV along with a letter of motivation, explaining why they want to join e-MFP.
